sarva tyaji’ teṅho pāche āilā vṛndāvana
teṅha bhakti-śāstra bahu kailā pracāraṇa


SYNONYMS

sarva tyaji’ — renouncing everything; teṅho — he (Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī); pāche — later; āilā vṛndāvana — came to Vṛndāvana; teṅha — he; bhakti-śāstra — books on devotional service; bahu — many; kailā — did; pracāraṇa — spreading.


TRANSLATION

After renouncing everything, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī went to Vṛndāvana. Later he also wrote many books on devotional service and expanded the work of preaching.
