prabhu kahe,—'duṅhe kene āilā eta dūre'?
purī-gosāñi kahe,—'tomāra nṛtya dekhibāre'


SYNONYMS

prabhu kahe — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said; duṅhe — the two of you; kene — why; āilā — have come; eta dūre — so far; purī-gosāñi kahe — Purī Gosāñi said; tomāra nṛtya — Your dancing; dekhibāre — to see.


TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said to Purī Gosvāmī and Brahmānanda Bhāratī, "Why have the two of you come so far?" Purī Gosvāmī replied, "Just to see Your dancing."
