sei padma-nāle ha-ila caudda bhuvana

teṅho 'brahmā' hañā sṛṣṭi karila sṛjana

SYNONYMS

sei padma-nāle—within the stem of that lotus; ha-ila—became manifested; caudda—fourteen; bhuvana—planetary systems; teṅho—He; brahmā—Lord Brahmā; hañā—having become; sṛṣṭi—the material creation; karila sṛjana—created.

TRANSLATION

"In the stem of that lotus flower the fourteen worlds were generated. Then He became Lord Brahmā and created the entire universe.
