Dear Tamal Krishna Gosvami,

Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I hope you a re enjoying very much the merciful association of Srila Prabhupada. Regarding Bhargava Prabhu, I am very surprised to hear that he is spending BBT money whimsically. Never before has he had BBT money to spend like this and I assure you it will never again happen. The reason for this unique situation is that Brahmananda Svami requested me to transfer money to Africa for Prabhupada’s plane fare and unfortunately, due to some communications mixup, they never picked up the money and left for India. Since it was too difficult to get the money back to the U.S.A., I arranged for Bhargava to pick up the money and take it with him to Bombay. There he was to repay Ambarish the money that he lent Prabhupada for the plane fare and send the balance to me. He recently sent me one letter accounting for the money he had spent already and I wrote back that he should simply send the balance back to me in Los Angeles. Anyway, if Prabhupada is disturbed by this, you might kindly inform His Divine Grace that this is a unique situation and will never happen again. Jai, Maharaj, I hope this finds you well and always absorbed in the bliss of serving Srila Prabhupada’s lotus feet. Haribol!
