My dear Satsvarupa Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. I have been instructed by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada to thank you very much for the new issue of ‘Back To Godhead’ magazine. Srila Prabhupada especially enjoyed the section “Prabhupada Speaks Out”. His Divine Grace commented, “Now they should come to their senses. Before me everyone said “You are good.” Perhaps for the first time from the Eastern side they are getting such chastisement. They are not even civilized what to speak of no knowledge.”

Please note that the name of the Port Royale Farm in Pennsylvania is “New Varsana.” This should be added in the listing of the temples on the last page under farms.

Please hand over to Radha Ballabha Prabhu the enclosed news clipping and tell him that this news clipping can be photocopied and sent to the Immigration authorities in the U.S. as proof of Srila Prabhupada’s inability to come at this time for renewing the “green card”. Srila Prabhupada said that this news clipping will stand as good as a doctor’s letter. Please explain the contents of this paragraph to Radha Ballabha. Please also inform Radha Ballabha that we are unable to use the U.S. tape recorder because the battery charger has been blown out by the oscillating current here in Vrndavana. He should immediately send a new battery charger with some kind of machine which adjusts for oscillating current which goes somewhere between 150 volts and 250 volts. These should be sent to Delhi care of Bhagawat Ashraya and he can bring them down to Vrndavana. Until we get these we are forced to use the Sony which picks of a lot of static in the conversations.
