Dear Rameswara Maharaj,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Gopal Krsna received three favorable letters recently from Russia, ordering books, and one from a university saying they hoped this would lead to a cultural exchange between the two countries. Considering these as possible important leads, Srila Prabhupada reconsidered his instruction to you to write and publish BTG articles denouncing Communist Russia. That should not be our business right now. You may write against “godlessness” but hold off on that direct anti-Russia propaganda, since we are working the other way at the same time. As for the order of posters and calendars, Srila Prabhupada requested it on behalf of Gour Govinda Swami and Bhubaneswar. Of course it is Gour Govinda who will have to take it up as for payment to the BBT. He says he can sell pictures very easily for a good price. He said he could sell 200 posters right away, and calendars and badges. I suggest you send him a sizable order and bill him if that is your policy, and see how he can do. Srila Prabhupada will be glad to hear they have got them and are selling, since His Divine Grace was the one who brought it up.

We went a couple of days to Puri, wonderful transcendental adventures, Srila Prabhupada bathing in the ocean, speaking at a meeting of Pandits boldly denouncing their policy against the western Vaishnavas. Now we will leave on the 3rd for Calcutta and as Srila Prabhupada said, “back to home, back to Godhead”, meaning Mayapur dham. See you there.

I spoke to Dheer Krsna and I think he will be staying in India at least until the festival and then he can consider fully what to do. Prabhupada just asked me to write Harikesa Swami to at one print Isopanisad in Russian! We will attack them one way or another! I am personally indebted to you for how fully you are helping ISKCON from the L.A. headquarters, BBT etc. Please keep well and don’t overwork, because we all need your big contribution for many years to come.
