Mayapur, 1st February, 1976

Dear Narendra Prabhu,

Please accept my obeisances. I have just now received your letter dated 27th September, 1975, and sent to Brahmananda Swami. Your letter was redirected a number of times. I am now functioning as Srila Prabhupada’s Personal Secretary.

Regarding your desire to take Sannyas, one has to be recommended at the GBC meeting at Mayapur. If one is recommended then after a one year observation period, then he is given Sannyas. So the best thing is that you come during the festival and then we shall consider.
