prabhu kahe,—‘duṅhe kene āilā eta dūre’?
purī-gosāñi kahe,—‘tomāra nṛtya dekhibāre’


SYNONYMS

prabhu kahe—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said; duṅhe—the two of you; kene—why; āilā—have come; eta dūre—so far; purī-gosāñi kahe—Purī Gosāñi said; tomāra nṛtya—Your dancing; dekhibāre—to see.


TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said to Purī Gosvāmī and Brahmānanda Bhāratī, “Why have the two of you come so far?” Purī Gosvāmī replied, “Just to see Your dancing.”
