śuni’ mahāprabhu kichu lajjita hailā mane
tāṅre santoṣite kichu balena vacane


SYNONYMS

śuni’—hearing; mahāprabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; kichu—somewhat; lajjita—ashamed; hailā—became; mane—within the mind; tāṅre—him; santoṣite—to satisfy; kichu—some; balena—said; vacane—words.


TRANSLATION

Hearing this, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was somewhat ashamed. Just to satisfy Sanātana Gosvāmī, He spoke the following words.
