śuni’ paṇḍitera mane krodha upajila
bhātera hāṇḍi hāte lañā mārite āila
SYNONYMS
śuni’—hearing; paṇḍitera—of Jagadānanda Paṇḍita; mane—in the mind; krodha—anger; upajila—arose; bhātera hāṇḍi—the cooking pot; hāte—in his hand; lañā—taking; mārite āila—was ready to beat.
TRANSLATION
Hearing this, Jagadānanda Paṇḍita immediately became very angry and took a cooking pot in his hand, intending to beat Sanātana Gosvāmī.
