jagannātha ratha-yātrāya ha-ibena bāhira

tāṅra ratha-cākāya chāḍimu ei śarīra

SYNONYMS

jagannātha ratha-yātrāya—on the occasion of the car festival of Lord Jagannātha; ha-ibena bāhira—He will be out; tāṅra—of Him; ratha-cākāya—under the wheel of the car; chāḍimu—I shall give up; ei śarīra—this body.

TRANSLATION

"During the Ratha-yātrā festival, when Lord Jagannātha comes out of the temple, I shall give up this body under the wheel of His car.
