- āśramān ṛṣi-mukhyānāṁ
- kṛtvā bhagna-vanaspatīn
- adūṣayac chakṛn-mūtrair
- agnīn vaitānikān khalaḥ
SYNONYMS
āśramān—the spiritual communities; ṛṣi—of sages; mukhyānām—exalted; kṛtva—making; bhagna—broken; vanaspatīn—whose trees; adūṣayat—he contaminated; mūtraiḥ—and urine; agnīn—the fires; vaitānikān—sacrificial; khalaḥ—wicked.

TRANSLATION
The wicked ape tore down the trees in the hermitages of exalted sages and contaminated their sacrificial fires with his feces and urine.
