āji āmi āchilāṅa uṭhāiluṅ prabhure
vṛndāvane ḍubena yadi, ke uṭhābe tāṅre?


SYNONYMS

āji—today; āmi—I; āchilāṅa—was present; uṭhāiluṅ—raised; prabhure—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; vṛndāvane—in Vṛndāvana; ḍubena yadi—if He drowns; ke uṭhābe tāṅre—who will raise Him.


TRANSLATION

Balabhadra Bhaṭṭācārya said, “Since I was present today, it was possible for me to pull the Lord up. But if He starts to drown at Vṛndāvana, who will help Him?
