mahārāṣṭrīya vipra āsi’ tāṅhāre mililā

prabhu tāṅre sneha kari’ kṛpā prakāśilā

SYNONYMS

mahārāṣṭrīya vipra—the Maharashtrian brāhmaṇa; āsi’—coming; tāṅhāre—him; mililā—met; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tāṅre—to him; sneha kari’—showing His affection; kṛpā prakāśilā—distributed His mercy.

TRANSLATION

The Maharashtrian brāhmaṇa came, and the Lord met him. Out of affection, the Lord bestowed His mercy upon him.
