ācambite prabhu dekhi’ caraṇe paḍilā
ānandita hañā nija-gṛhe lañā gelā


SYNONYMS

ācambite—suddenly; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; dekhi’—seeing; caraṇe—at His feet; paḍilā—he fell; ānandita hañā—becoming very glad; nija-gṛhe—to his own place; lañā—taking; gelā—went.


TRANSLATION

While Candraśekhara was waiting outside the city, he suddenly saw Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu arrive, and he fell down at the Lord’s feet. Being very happy, he took the Lord to his home.
