dhik, dhik āpanāke bali’ ha-ilāṅa asthira
nivṛtta hañā punaḥ āilāṅa gaṅgā-tīra


SYNONYMS

dhik dhik—fie! fie!; āpanāke—on Myself; bali’—saying; ha-ilāṅa—I became; asthira—agitated; nivṛtta hañā—stopping such an action; punaḥ—again; āilāṅa—I came back; gaṅgā-tīra—to the bank of the Ganges.


TRANSLATION

“I therefore said, ‘Fie upon Me!’ and being very much agitated, I returned to the banks of the Ganges.
