dugdha āuṭi’ dadhi mathe tomāra gopī-gaṇe
āmāra ṭhākurāṇī vaise ratna-siṁhāsane


SYNONYMS

dugdha āuṭi’—boiling milk; dadhi—yogurt; mathe—churning; tomāra—your; gopī-gaṇe—gopīs; āmāra—my; ṭhākurāṇī—mistress; vaise—sits down; ratna-siṁhāsane—on a throne of gems.


TRANSLATION

Śrīvāsa Ṭhākura continued to address Svarūpa Dāmodara: “Your gopīs are engaged in boiling milk and churning yogurt, but my mistress, the goddess of fortune, sits on a throne made of jewels and gems.”
