’bhāgavata-sandarbha’-nāma kaila grantha-sāra
bhāgavata-siddhāntera tāhāṅ pāiye pāra


SYNONYMS

bhāgavata-sandarbha—the Bhāgavata-sandarbha, which is also known as the Ṣaṭ-sandarbha; nāma—named; kaila—made; grantha-sāra—the essence of all scriptures; bhāgavata-siddhāntera—of conclusive information about the Supreme Personality of Godhead and His service; tāhāṅ—there; pāiye—we get; pāra—the limit.


TRANSLATION

In particular, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī compiled the book named Bhāgavata-sandarbha, or Ṣaṭ-sandarbha, which is the essence of all scriptures. From this book one can obtain a conclusive understanding of devotional service and the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
