sarva tyaji’ teṅho pāche āilā vṛndāvana
teṅha bhakti-śāstra bahu kailā pracāraṇa


SYNONYMS

sarva tyaji’—renouncing everything; teṅho—he (Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī); pāche—later; āilā vṛndāvana—came to Vṛndāvana; teṅha—he; bhakti-śāstra—books on devotional service; bahu—many; kailā—did; pracāraṇa—spreading.


TRANSLATION

After renouncing everything, Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī went to Vṛndāvana. Later he also wrote many books on devotional service and expanded the work of preaching.
