siṁha-dvāre āsi’ prabhu pasārira ṭhāṅi
āṅcala pātiyā prasāda māgilā tathāi


SYNONYMS

siṁha-dvāre āsi’—coming in front of the Siṁha-dvāra; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; pasārira ṭhāṅi—from all the shopkeepers; āṅcala pātiyā—spreading His cloth; prasāda—Jagannātha’s prasādam; māgilā—begged; tathāi—there.


TRANSLATION

Approaching the Siṁha-dvāra gate, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu spread His cloth and began to beg prasādam from all the shopkeepers there.
