ei saptadaśa prakāra ādi-līlāra prabandha
dvādaśa prabandha tāte grantha-mukhabandha


SYNONYMS

ei saptadaśa—these seventeen; prakāra—varieties; ādi-līlāra—of the Adi-līlā (first canto); prabandha—subject matter; dvādaśa—twelve; prabandha—subject matters; tāte—among those; grantha—of the book; mukha-bandha—prefaces.


TRANSLATION

Thus there are seventeen varieties of subjects in the first canto, which is known as the Adi-līlā. Twelve of these constitute the preface of this scripture.
