"āmi cālāiluṅ tomā, tumi nā calilā
krodhe kichu nā kahilā, sakala sahilā


SYNONYMS

āmi — I; cālāiluṅ — tried to agitate; tomā — you; tumi — you; calilā — did not become agitated; krodhe — in anger; kichu — anything; kahilā — you did not say; sakala — everything; sahilā — you tolerated.


TRANSLATION

"I wanted to agitate you," the Lord said, "but you did not become agitated. Indeed, you could not say anything in anger. Instead, you tolerated everything.
