‘lakṣmī’ dekhi’ ei śloka paḍena gosāñi


SYNONYMS

līlā-sthala dekhi’ — seeing the places of pastimes; tāhāṅ — there; gelā — departed; śeṣa-śāyī — for seeing Śeṣaśāyī; lakṣmī — the goddess of fortune; dekhi’ — seeing; ei — this; śloka — verse; paḍena — recites; gosāñi — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.


TRANSLATION

After seeing the places of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes, Śrī Caitanya went to Śeṣaśāyī, where He saw Lakṣmī and recited the following verse.
