catur-dike loka saba bale ‘hari’ ‘hari’


SYNONYMS

ṭhelitei — as soon as He pushed; calila — departed; ratha — the car; haḍa haḍa kari’ — making a rattling noise; catuḥ-dike — all around; lokapeople in general; sabaall; balechant; hari harithe holy name of the Lord, “Hari, Hari.”


TRANSLATION

As soon as He pushed, the car immediately started to move, making a rattling noise. The people all around began to chant the holy name of the Lord, “Hari! Hari!”
