yadyapi śuniyā prabhura komala haya mana
tathāpi bāhire kahe niṣṭhura vacana


SYNONYMS

yadyapi — although; śuniyā — hearing; prabhura — of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; komala — softened; haya — becomes; manamind; tathāpi — still; bāhire — externally; kahe — He says; niṣṭhura vacana — hard words.


TRANSLATION

Hearing all these statements, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu’s mind was certainly softened, but externally He wished to speak some harsh words.
