śrīvāsa kahena,—kene kaha viparīta
kṛpā-mūlye cāri bhāi ha-i tomāra krīta


SYNONYMS

śrīvāsa kahenaŚrīvāsa Ṭhākura replied; kene — why; kaha viparīta — do You speak just the opposite; kṛpā-mūlyeby the price of Your mercy; cāri bhāi — we four brothers; ha-ibecome; tomāra — of You; krīta — purchased.


TRANSLATION

Śrīvāsa then replied to the Lord, “Why are You speaking in a contradictory way? Rather, we four brothers have been purchased by Your mercy.”
