īśvarera kṛpā jāti-kulādi nā māne
vidurera ghare kṛṣṇa karilā bhojane


SYNONYMS

īśvarera kṛpāthe mercy of the Lord; jāti — caste; kula-ādi — family, etc.; māne — does not obey; vidurera — of Vidura; ghare — at the home; kṛṣṇa — Lord Kṛṣṇa; karilā — did; bhojane — eating.


TRANSLATION

“The mercy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead is not restricted to the jurisdiction of caste and creed. Vidura was a śūdra, yet Kṛṣṇa accepted lunch at his home.
