- bāhuṁ priyāṁsa upadhāya gṛhīta-padmo
- rāmānujas tulasikāli-kulair madāndhaiḥ
- anvīyamāna iha vas taravaḥ praṇāmaṁ
- kiṁ vābhinandati caran praṇayāvalokaiḥ
SYNONYMS
bāhum—arm; priyā-aṁse—on the shoulder of His beloved; upadhāya—placing; gṛhīta—having taken; padmaḥ—a lotus flower; rāma-anujaḥ—Lord Balarāma's younger brother (Kṛṣṇa); tulasikā—because of the garland of tulasī flowers; ali-kulaiḥ—by bumblebees; mada-andhaiḥ—blinded by the fragrance; anvīyamānaḥ—being followed; iha—here; vaḥ—of you; taravaḥ—O trees; praṇāmam—the obeisances; kim vā—whether; abhinandati—welcomes; caran—while passing; praṇaya-avalokaiḥ—with glances of love.
TRANSLATION
Lord Caitanya continued, "'O trees, kindly tell us whether Balarāma's younger brother, Kṛṣṇa, welcomed your obeisances with loving glances as He passed this way, resting one hand on the shoulder of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī, holding a lotus flower in the other, and being followed by a swarm of bumblebees maddened by the fragrance of tulasī flowers.
