- indras tadātmanaḥ pūjāṁ

- nandādibhyaś cukopa ha
SYNONYMS
śrī-śukaḥ uvāca—Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; indraḥ—Lord Indra; tadā—then; ātmanaḥ—his own; pūjām—worship; vijñāya—understanding; vihatām—diverted; nṛpa—O King (Parīkṣit); gopebhyaḥ—at the cowherds; kṛṣṇa-nāthebhyaḥ—who took Kṛṣṇa as their Lord; cukopa ha—he became angry.

TRANSLATION
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: My dear King Parīkṣit, when Indra understood that his sacrifice had been put aside, he became furious with Nanda Mahārāja and the other cowherd men, who were accepting Kṛṣṇa as their Lord.
