SYNONYMS
aiche—such; tāṅhāre—unto the King; kṛpā—mercy; kaila—showed; gaurarāya—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; pratāparudra-santrātā—the deliverer of Mahārāja Pratāparudra; nāma—the name; haila—became; yāya—by which.
TRANSLATION
Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu showed such mercy to the King that from that day on the Lord became known as Pratāparudra-santrātā, the deliverer of Mahārāja Pratāparudra.
