parera sthāpya dravya keha nā khāya, vilāya
niṣedhiha iṅhāre,--yena nā kare anyāya"


SYNONYMS

parera—by another; sthāpya—to be kept: dravya—property; keha nā khāya—no one uses; vilāya—distributes; niṣedhiha—forbid; iṅhāre—him; yena—so; nā kare—he does not do; anyāya—something unlawful.


TRANSLATION

"One who is entrusted with another's property does not distribute it or use it for his own purposes. Therefore, tell him not to do such an unlawful thing."
