'iṣṭa-deva' kari' mālā dhariyā rākhilā


SYNONYMS

sei mālā — that garland; chuṭā pāna — the betel; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tāṅre dilā — delivered to him; iṣṭa-deva — his worshipable Deity; kari — accepting as; mālā — that garland; dhariyā rākhilā — kept.


TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu gave the garland and betel to Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa, who accepted them as a worshipable Deity and preserved them very carefully.
