hāsi’ mahāprabhu tabe advaite ānila
jalera upare tāṅre śeṣa-śayyā kaila


SYNONYMS

hāsi’ — smiling; mahāprabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tabe — at that time; advaite ānila — called for Advaita Ācārya; jalera upare — on the surface of the water; tāṅre — Him; śeṣa-śayyā — the Śeṣa Nāga bed; kailamade.


TRANSLATION

After Gopīnātha Ācārya finished talking, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu smiled and, calling for Advaita Ācārya, made Him act like the Śeṣa Nāga bed.
