- akrūrera loka āise prabhure dekhite
- loka-bhiḍe svacchande nāre 'kīrtana' karite
SYNONYMS
akrūrera loka—the people at Akrūra-tīrtha; āise—came; prabhure—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; dekhite—to see; loka-bhiḍe—because of such a crowd of people; svacchande—without disturbance; nāre—was not able; kīrtana karite—to perform kīrtana.
TRANSLATION
All the people who lived near Akrūra-tīrtha came to see Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and due to the large crowds, the Lord could not peacefully chant the holy name.
