- bahuta utkaṇṭhā tāṅra, karyāche vinaya
- tomā-sane ei sandhi, nāhi yuddha-bhaya'
SYNONYMS
bahuta—very much; utkaṇṭhā—anxiety; tāṅra—his; karyāche—has made; vinaya—submissive petition; tomā-sane—with you; ei—this; sandhi—a peace proposal; nāhi—there is not; yuddha-bhaya—fear of fighting.
TRANSLATION
"The Muslim governor is very eager, and he has submitted this petition with great respect. It is a proposal for peace. You need not fear that we will fight."
