- sālokya-sārṣṭi-sāmīpya-
- sārūpyaikatvam apy uta
- dīyamānaṁ na gṛhnanti
- vinā mat-sevanaṁ janāḥ
SYNONYMS
sālokya—to live on the same planet as the Supreme Personality of Godhead; sārṣṭi—to possess opulence equal to the Lord’s; sāmīpya—to always associate with the Supreme Personality of Godhead; sārūpya—to possess bodily features like the Lord’s; ekatvam—to merge into the body of the Supreme Personality of Godhead; api—even; uta—certainly; dīyamānam—being offered; na—never; gṛhṇanti—accept; vinā—without; mat—My; sevanam—devotional service; janāḥ—devotees.
TRANSLATION
“‘Pure devotees always reject the five kinds of liberation, which include living in the spiritual Vaikuṇṭha planets, possessing the same opulences as those possessed by the Supreme Lord, having the same bodily features as the Lord’s, associating with the Lord and merging into the body of the Lord. The pure devotees do not accept these benedictions without the service of the Lord.’
