SYNONYMS
ācārya — teacher; vaiṣṇavānanda — Vaiṣṇavānanda; bhakti — devotional service; adhikārī — fit candidate; pūrve — previously; nāma — name; chila — was; yāṅra — whose; raghunātha purī — Raghunātha Purī.
TRANSLATION
The twenty-seventh prominent devotee of Nityānanda Prabhu was Ācārya Vaiṣṇavānanda, a great personality in devotional service. He was formerly known as Raghunātha Purī.
