SYNONYMS

aiche — such; tāṅhāre — unto the King; kṛpā — mercy; kaila — showed; gaurarāya — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; pratāparudra-santrātā — the deliverer of Mahārāja Pratāparudra; nāma — the name; haila — became; yāya — by which.


TRANSLATION

Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu showed such mercy to the King that from that day on the Lord became known as Pratāparudra-santrātā, the deliverer of Mahārāja Pratāparudra.
