prātaḥ-kāle bhavya-loka prabhu-sthāne āilā
‘kṛṣṇa dekhi’ āilā?’—prabhu tāṅhāre puchilā


SYNONYMS

prātaḥ-kāle — the next morning; bhavya-loka — respectable gentlemen; prabhu-sthāne — at the place of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; āilā — came; kṛṣṇa dekhi’ — seeing Lord Kṛṣṇa; āilā — have you come; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tāṅhāre puchilā — inquired from them.


TRANSLATION

The next morning some respectable gentlemen came to see Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and the Lord asked them, “Have you seen Kṛṣṇa?”
