- tadā mahotsavo nṟṇāṁ
- yadu-puryāṁ gṛhe gṛhe
- abhūd ananya-bhāvānāṁ
- kṛṣṇe yadu-patau nṛpa
SYNONYMS
tadā — then; mahā-utsavaḥ — great rejoicing; nṟṇām — by the people; yadu-puryām — in the capital of the Yadus, Dvārakā; gṛhe gṛhe — in each and every home; abhūt — arose; ananya-bhāvānām — who had exclusive love; kṛṣṇe — for Kṛṣṇa; yadu-patau — the chief of the Yadus; nṛpa — O King (Parīkṣit).

TRANSLATION
At that time, O King, there was great rejoicing in all the homes of Yadupurī, whose citizens loved only Kṛṣṇa, chief of the Yadus.
