SYNONYMS

tāmbūla-sampuṭa — boxes containing the ingredients for betel-nut preparation; jhāri — water pitchers; vyajana — fans; cāmarawhisks; sāthe — along with; dāsī — maidservants; śata — hundreds; hāranecklaces; divya — valuable; bhūṣāmbara — dresses.


TRANSLATION

The maidservants were carrying water pitchers, cāmara whisks and boxes for betel nuts. There were hundreds of maidservants, all attractively dressed and wearing valuable necklaces.
