āste-vyaste ācārya tāṅre kaila kole
śvāsa-rahita dekhi’ ācārya hailā vikale


SYNONYMS

āste-vyaste — with great haste; ācārya — Advaita Ācārya; tāṅre — him; kailatook; kole — on His lap; śvāsa-rahita — without breathing; dekhi’ — seeing; ācārya — Advaita Ācārya; hailā — became; vikale — agitated.


TRANSLATION

When Śrī Gopāla fainted, Advaita Ācārya hastily took him upon His lap. Seeing that he was not breathing, He became very much agitated.
