- tāre nāmāite prabhu govinde niṣedhilā
SYNONYMS
dekhiyā — seeing; govinda — the personal servant of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; āste-vyaste — with great haste; strīke — the woman; varjilā — got down; tāre — her; nāmāite — to get down; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; govinde — Govinda; niṣedhilā — forbade.
TRANSLATION
When he saw this, Caitanya Mahāprabhu's personal servant, Govinda, hastily got her down from her position. Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, however, chastised him for this.
PURPORT
