līlā-sthala dekhi’ tāhāṅ gelā ‘śeṣaśāyī’
‘lakṣmī’ dekhi’ ei śloka paḍena gosāñi


SYNONYMS

līlā-sthala dekhi’—seeing the places of pastimes; tāhāṅ—there; gelā—departed; śeṣa-śāyī—for seeing Śeṣaśāyī; lakṣmī—the goddess of fortune; dekhi’—seeing; ei—this; śloka—verse; paḍena—recites; gosāñi—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.


TRANSLATION

After seeing the places of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s pastimes, Śrī Caitanya went to Śeṣaśāyī, where He saw Lakṣmī and recited the following verse.
