760520 - Letter to Arjit from Pusta Krsna

May 20, 1976

From: Pusta Krishna

Cleveland

My dear Arjit das,

Please accept my humble obeisances. I beg to inform you that your Letter to: Srila Prabhupada of 5-12-76 was read to His Divine Grace, and in particular He very much appreciated the beautiful pictures of the Deities, raising both the pictures of Jagannatha, and Radha Krishna to His transcendental forehead. He looked at them for some time. Prabhupada was pleased to hear that the Rathayatra will take place in Cleveland this year, and He said that these festivals should be held everywhere, the public will greatly appreciate the festivities of chanting, dancing, and prasadam. Of course, Prabhupada is only going to spend some short time in the U.S.A. this year, and He wanted to especially see the new temples that we purchased in Detroit, Toronto, Washington, like that, so it will not be possible to come to the Rathayatra in Cleveland this year. However, that should not decrease the joy and potency of this divine event as your Rathayatra festival surely has the blessings of His Divine Grace. Please see that the cart is very strong as Prabhupada has repeatedly expressed His regret that the kart’s some things break during the procession. So do the needful. Prabhupada was very pleased by the kart in Philadelphia last year.

I hope that this meets you in good health and joyful serving mood.

Your servant,

Pusta Krishna Swami,

Personal Secretary to Srila Prabhupada
