“pṛthak nāṭaka karite satyabhāmā ājñā dila
jānilu, pṛthak nāṭaka karite prabhu-ājñā haila


SYNONYMS

pṛthak nāṭaka—different dramas; karite—to write; satyabhāmā—Satyabhāmā; ājñā dila—ordered; jānilu—now I understand; pṛthak nāṭaka—different dramas; karite—to write; prabhu-ājñā—the order of the Lord; haila—there was.


TRANSLATION

“Satyabhāmā ordered me to write two different dramas,” Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī thought. “Now I understand that this order has been confirmed by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu.
