SYNONYMS

sei naukā caḍi — boarding the same boat; prabhu — Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; āilā — reached; pānihāṭi — the place named Pānihāṭi; nāvikere — the captain of the boat; parāila — He put on; nija-kṛpā-sāṭī — His own used cloth as special mercy.


TRANSLATION

The Lord finally reached Pānihāṭi, and as an act of mercy He gave the captain of the boat one of His personal garments.
