By the Grace of the Lord Arjuna was fortunate enough to have the freternal service of the Lord as the chariot driver, but to speak the truth the Lord did not award unto Arjuna equal strength. The Gopis however practically become one with the Lord by attainment of the highest quality of equal footing with the Lord. Bhisma's aspiration for remembering the Gopies is to pray to have their mercy also at the last stage of his life. The Lord is satisfied more when His pure devotees are glorified and therefore Bhismadeva has not only glorified the Acts of Arjuna his immediate object of attraction but also he had remembered the Gopies who were endowed with unrivalled opportunities in the matter of rendering loving service of the Lord. The Gopis' equality with the Lord is never to be misunderstood as Sayujya liberation of the impersonalist but the equality is one of perfect ecstasy where the differential conception is completely eradicated or the interest of the lover and the beloved become identical. #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"##p class="mw-empty-elt"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_40"#TEXT 40#/span##/h4# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#lalita-gati-vilāsa-valguhāsa-#/dd# #dd#praṇaya-nirīkṣaṇa-kalpitorumānāḥ#/dd# #dd#kṛta-manu-kṛta-vatya unmadāndhāḥ#/dd# #dd#prakṛtim agan kila yasya gopa-vadhvaḥ#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=lalita&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#lalita#/i# — attractive; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=gati&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#gati#/i# — movements; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vilāsa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vilāsa#/i# — fascinating acts; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=valguhāsa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#valguhāsa#/i# — sweet smiling; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=praṇaya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#praṇaya#/i# — loving; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=nirīkṣaṇa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#nirīkṣaṇa#/i# — looking upon; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=kalpita&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#kalpita#/i# — mentality; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=urumānāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#urumānāḥ#/i# — highly glorified; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=kṛta&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#kṛta-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=manu&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#manu-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=kṛta&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#kṛta-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vatyaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vatyaḥ#/i# — in the act of copying the movements; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=unmada&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#unmada-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=andhāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#andhāḥ#/i# — gone mad in ecstasy; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=prakṛtim&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#prakṛtim#/i# — characteristics; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=agan&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#agan#/i# — underwent; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=kila&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#kila#/i# — certainly; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=yasya&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#yasya#/i# — whose; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=gopa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#gopa-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=vadhvaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#vadhvaḥ#/i# — the cowherd damsels. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# Let my mind be fixed upon Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, whose motions and smiles of love attracted the damsels of Vrajadhāma [the gopīs].
