The comparison of Moharaj Judhisthir with the king of heaven is significant. The king of heaven is thousands and thousands of times greater than Moharaj Judhisthir in opulence and still the fame of Moharaj Judhisthir was not less than him. The reason is that Moharaj Judhisthir was a pure devotee of the Lord and by His Grace only he was at par with the King of Heaven even though King Judhisthir performed only three Yajnas whereas the king of heaven performed hundred times more than him. That is the prerogative of the devotee of the Lord. The Lord is equal to everyone but a devotee of the Lord is more glorified because he is always in touch with the All Great. The sun rays are equally distributed but still there are some places which is dark always. This is not due to the partiality of the sun but it is due to the partial receptive power of the place for the sun rays. Similarly those who are cent per cent devotee of the Lord they get full fledged mercy of the Lord which is always equally distributed everywhere. #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"##p class="mw-empty-elt"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_6"#TEXT 6#/span##/h4# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#yājayitvāśvamedhais taṁ#/dd# #dd#tribhir uttama-kalpakaiḥ#/dd# #dd#tad-yaśaḥ pāvanaṁ dikṣu#/dd# #dd#śata-manyor ivātanot#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=yājayitvā&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#yājayitvā#/i# — by performing; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=aśvamedhaiḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#aśvamedhaiḥ#/i# — #i#yajña#/i# in which a horse is sacrificed; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tam#/i# — him (King Yudhiṣṭhira); #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tribhiḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tribhiḥ#/i# — three; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=uttama&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#uttama#/i# — best; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=kalpakaiḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#kalpakaiḥ#/i# — supplied with proper ingredients and performed by able priests; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=tat&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#tat#/i# — that; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=yaśaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#yaśaḥ#/i# — fame; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=pāvanam&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#pāvanam#/i# — virtuous; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=dikṣu&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#dikṣu#/i# — all directions; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=śata&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#śata-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=manyoḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#manyoḥ#/i# — Indra, who performed one hundred such sacrifices; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=iva&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#iva#/i# — like; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=atanot&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#atanot#/i# — spread. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa caused three well-performed Aśvamedha-yajñas [horse sacrifices] to be conducted by Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira and thus caused his virtuous fame to be glorified in all directions, like that of Indra, who had performed one hundred such sacrifices. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="PURPORT"#PURPORT#/span##/h4# #div class="purport"# This is something like the preface to the performances of #i#aśvamedha-yajña#/i# by Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira.
