Therefore 16108 x 10=161080 sons. They were all grown up and therefore each of them had as many sons as their father and the whole aggregate was some thing near about one crores of family members of the Lord. It is just like the Lord. The Lord is the Father of all living beings who are countless by number and therefore if only a few of them are called for associating with the Lord in His transcendental pastime as the Lord of Dwarka on this earth there is nothing to be astonished if the Lord maintained a visible family consisting of one crore of members. It is better to refrain ourselves from calculating the Lord's position as that of ours and it becomes a simple truth as soon as we understand at least a partial calculation of the Lord's transcendental position. King Yudhisthira while enquiring about the Lord's sons and grand sons at Dwarka, he mentioned only the chieftains amongst them otherwise it was impossible for him also to remember all the names of the Lord's family members. #/div# #/div# please wait#div class="mw-parser-output"##p class="mw-empty-elt"# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TEXT_31"#TEXT 31#/span##/h4# #div class="verse"# #dl##dd#suṣeṇaś cārudeṣṇaś ca#/dd# #dd#sāmbo jāmbavatī-sutaḥ#/dd# #dd#anye ca kārṣṇi-pravarāḥ#/dd# #dd#saputrā ṛṣabhādayaḥ#/dd##/dl# #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="SYNONYMS"#SYNONYMS#/span##/h4# #div class="synonyms"# #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=suṣeṇaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#suṣeṇaḥ#/i# — Suṣeṇa; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=cārudeṣṇaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#cārudeṣṇaḥ#/i# — Cārudeṣṇa; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ca&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ca#/i# — and; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sāmbaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sāmbaḥ#/i# — Sāmba; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=jāmbavatī&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#jāmbavatī-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sutaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sutaḥ#/i# — the son of Jāmbavatī; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=anye&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#anye#/i# — others; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ca&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ca#/i# — also; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=kārṣṇi&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#kārṣṇi#/i# — the sons of Lord Kṛṣṇa; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=pravarāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#pravarāḥ#/i# — all chieftains; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=sa&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#sa-#a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=putrāḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#putrāḥ#/i# — along with their sons; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ṛṣabha&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ṛṣabha#/i# — Ṛṣabha; #i##a target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" class="external text" href="//vanipedia.org/wiki/Special:VaniSearch?s=ādayaḥ&tab=syno_o&ds=1"#ādayaḥ#/i# — etc. #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="TRANSLATION"#TRANSLATION#/span##/h4# #div class="translation"# Are all the chieftain sons of Lord Kṛṣṇa, such as Suṣeṇa, Cārudeṣṇa, Sāmba the son of Jāmbavatī, and Ṛṣabha, along with their sons, all doing well? #/div# #h4##span class="mw-headline" id="PURPORT"#PURPORT#/span##/h4# #div class="purport"# As already mentioned, Lord Kṛṣṇa married 16,108 wives, and each of them had ten sons.
